In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is an assisted reproductive technology in which eggs are retrieved from the ovaries after controlled hormonal stimulation, fertilized with sperm in our state-of-the-art laboratory, and the resulting embryos are carefully cultured for 3–5 days. One or more healthy embryos are then transferred directly into the uterus. The entire process takes approximately 2–3 weeks per cycle and is performed under close medical supervision at Geeta IVF Centre.

IVF success rates vary depending on the woman's age, the cause of infertility, embryo quality and overall health. Generally, success rates range from 40–60% per cycle for women under 35, declining with age. Fertility treatments including IVF, IUI and ICSI are generally safe when performed by experienced specialists. Hormonal medications used for ovarian stimulation can cause mild side effects such as bloating, mood swings and mild discomfort. Rarely, Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS) can occur and is carefully monitored and managed by our team. We conduct thorough pre-treatment assessments, use individualised low-dose stimulation protocols and maintain strict safety standards to minimise any risks throughout your treatment.

Many couples achieve a successful pregnancy in their first IVF cycle, particularly younger patients with good embryo quality. On average, 1–3 cycles are recommended for optimal results. Cumulative success rates improve significantly with each cycle — studies show that after three complete cycles, over 70% of women achieve a live birth. We recommend consulting a fertility specialist if you have been trying to conceive naturally for 12 months without success (or 6 months if the woman is 35 or older).
